Pray, But Don’t Worry

Couldn’t catch a break on sad or bad news

Before one was resolved another cropped up

To the point where they started to linger on my mind

Then the Holy Spirit said “pray, but don’t worry “

In other words, pray sincerely that God will

Heal, deliver, or remedy the situation

But don’t let the situation occupy your mind constantly

In the Baptist church the Saints would say

“Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there”

And in Luke 12:22-31, Jesus talks about not worrying

In 1 Thessalonians 5:7 it says pray without ceasing

This means constantly pray for issues and situations

But don’t worry about them.  God will take care of them.

For He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

Lead Me Down The Road

Now the storm is gone
It’s time for recovery
Lord, don’t leave me here alone
Lead me down the road

I’m trying to get to
where I used to be before the storm
The road to recovery
So winding and long

Lord, more You can see
And You’re more strong
I want to succeed
So, Lord please
Don’t leave me hear alone
Lead me down the road.

Scripture Reference

Isaiah 48:17 17Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

All I Have Is A Prayer

All I have is a prayer
That’s my scintilla of hope
In spite of all I’ve tried and done
I can get no where

God, your mercy is all I know
The time is almost near
For the verdict to e read
My prayer, please hear
Please give me one more chance

I don’t won’t to turn back
But it’s hard to move ahead
My chances are slime to get there
I need a miracle
And all I have is a prayer.

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
