Hold On To The Dream

Hold on to the dream
As impossible as it may seem
to come true
Without vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18)

Even though the odds seem insurmountable
Jesus said with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26)
Continue to work very hard
Pray, your efforts will be blessed by God

It’s easier to give up
But you’ve come to far
One day, it’s got to pay
God will bless in His own time and way
To the faith cling
And hold on to the dream.

Let Us Not Be Weary In Well Doing

The work of the Lord will bear fruit

It may not be immediately visible to see

But keep on working

For we shall reap if we faint not

So let us not be weary in well doing

After all, does God get tired of running the earth?

Does He get tired of waking up the sun?

Or letting the rain fall

He keeps the earth in tact in all

Does He get tired of hearing our prayers

Does He stop giving us blessings

No matter how weary, keep going

If He doesn’t stop, neither should we

Keep doing God’s outreach

It’s not for you, but for others to see.

Scripture a Reference:

Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Good News

Received such good news on this Easter

Of surgical recoveries and hospital releases

Due to quarantines we couldn’t physically meet

But folk still cooked and enjoyed feasts

And dressed up to celebrate resurrection of Jesus

Reminding us this pandemic won’t defeat us

Because God still hearing our pleas and prayers

While the grim news still remains on tv

Of the loss of lives and economies

In the middle of one of the world’s worst tragedies

It’s good news when an email is received

That all is well with friends and family

True to the words in Psalm 46

God has been our refuse and strength

And one day, I hope soon

This pandemic will pass through

And the whole world will have good news.
