Don’t forget
Who heard your cries
Who forgave you just one more time

Now the storm’s over
And the sun is beginning to shine
What have you done for God
Must He remind?
A lot He has blessed you with
So don’t forget

How you said you’d change
Don’t forget to give Him praise
Don’t forget what you said
You’d do to honor Him for blessing you
Don’t have an excuse
He’s been too good to you
And He’s blessing yet
So, don’t forget

Another Chance

I’m so sorry for what I’ve done
I’m so sorry, my heart is torn
I’m asking forgiveness
I’ve created a mess
This is not the first time
But the third
I should have learned my lesson
To ask for another chance
I’ve got a lot of nerves

But You’re not a God of limited chances
Your mercy endureth forever
If only I had made better decisions
If only I had listened
If only I had acknowledged You
And leaned not to my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)

But now I’m in a bind
And I’m pleading one more time
Please forgive me
I am so sorry.

Insight
God is a God of many chances. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteouness.

All I Have Is A Prayer

All I have is a prayer
That’s my scintilla of hope
In spite of all I’ve tried and done
I can get no where

God, your mercy is all I know
The time is almost near
For the verdict to e read
My prayer, please hear
Please give me one more chance

I don’t won’t to turn back
But it’s hard to move ahead
My chances are slime to get there
I need a miracle
And all I have is a prayer.
