Finding The Energy To Clean

Whew,
Thank You Lord the house is in a better state
Been trying to clean it for days
I’ll do it tomorrow I would say
I wasn’t trying to procrastinate
It’s just when the morrow came my energy went away

Then one day I changed my plans
Instead of going out, I stayed in and tried again
I picked up the broom and mop
And thanks to You the needed energy I got

As I swung the mop more and more
My energy picked up beyond cleaning the floors
I looked in closets and threw out stuff
That for years wasn’t touched–just collecting dusk

Lord, you not only gave me energy
But more than what I needed
What I plan to clean, I exceeded
Scripture reference: Isaiah 40:28 – 31
Background
God never gets tired or runs out of strength. He maintains the earth daily. Without fail the daylight comes every day and the night falls. The seasons change year end and out. The earth doesn’t run out of food, air or water. At the same time God is attentive to every one of His children. But unlike God, we get tired trying to maintaining our households. I remember a time when I said I would clean up on a certain day. That day came and went without any cleaning being done as I couldn’t find the energy to start cleaning. Then one day thank God, I got the energy to clean more than what I planned.

Direct Line To God

Thank You Lord for giving me a direct line to You
I can converse with You like I’m talking to a friend
I need no one’s permission, I don’t have to meet You in a special place
I don’t need to wear special attire or
Or talk a certain way.
Yet I have a direct line to the biggest mover and shaker
To the richest one on earth

Lord, I love You so much
I marvel how could it be
Someone like You, loves little old me
I can tell You my deepest secrets (well You already know em)
Whatever I tell You, stays with You
I don’t get judged on what bothers me
I didn’t need a reference, referral, or relative
Thanks for hearing and answering my prayers

Exodus 33:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.

God’s Bountiful Blessings

Looking in the garden made me think
Look how much food is coming up!
Just from one little plant
We can feed several families
Another example of God’s generosity

Ask God for one thing and He gives several things
He goes above and beyond what was asked
God is the epitome o generosity
Let us give thanks or His bountiful blessings.

Psalm 7:6 Then shall the earth yield he increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
