I Love You I Do

I love You I Do
I’ll tell You time and time again
In all I’ve been thru
You’ve been there as a friend
A bond we’ve been welded into
And eternity I want to spend

Often I think what could I do
To show appreciation for You
What could I give
to express how I feel
How can I pay
For all that You gave
There’s no way
So I’ll just say

I love You I do
I’ll tell You time and time again
For all that You do
I’ll be grateful to the end
And long as I’m able to
Praises I’ll send
To express time and time again
That You’re such a wonderful Being.

Just One Good Thing

Woke up this morning with nothing specific to do
I feel well, clothed and in right mind
Don’t want to waste the day with idle time
So Lord, give me something to do (Ephesians 2:10)
Something that will reflect on You
Even if it’s just one good thing

Even one thing would positively impact a life
And help make someone’s day bright
It could be a kind word or smile
It could a small deed for someone in need
Or spreading your word, about You I could teach

Just one good thing
That will make me feel used by you
Will make my purpose for the day fruitful
I can help spread the good news
Of all the wonderful things You do
So, Let me be used by you.

Insight

I woke up one morning with absolutely nothing to do; to the point that I had to ask God what was my purpose for waking up. He reminded me He has plenty of work to be done even If it means just positively touching the life of one person for the day. So my prayer for that day became Lord, use me today to glorify You.
Matthew 25:35-36 says For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in; naked and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

He Always Picked Me Up

There were no training wheels on my first bike
And I didn’t even know how to ride
But my father was there to teach and guide
Until I learned he never left my side
While learning I fell many times
But he always picked me up and said keep trying

As I reflect on my ride through life
Some decisions I made were not good or right
I’ve have setbacks and falls
But from them all
God always picked me up
He’s such a wonderful One.
