I noticed the backgrounds of successful people, not just celebrities but local people who are strong
leaders and good in their crafts. What all of them seem to have in common is a loving family. The make up of a family varies. Some are large, some are small. They can be mixed races or same gender. The bottom line is it is a group of people, (not necessarily blood related) who will show love and support no matter what.
Well, don’t everyone have this? Absolutely not. Some children are born to parents who abuse them.
Some didn’t even stand a chance at a normal, safe life. Some older people are forgotten about or neglected. Some spouses create abusive environments. And then there are families where love is just not pervasive. Not necessarily an environment of abuse, but an environment of just co-existing with minimal love and support.
It’s good to want to achieve and reach your goals or make a positive impact in society. But it is virtually impossible to do it without people in your corner who are going to provide unconditional love and support to you. No matter what good you try to do, there will be folk trying to knock you down by
saying or doing hurtful things. Then there’s the stress and pressure that comes with about any job. Nothing relieves trouble like knowing when you go home, there will be people there waiting to embrace you and love you no matter what happened.
1 John 4:7, Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God,
and knoweth God.
John 13:34, A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye
also love one another.
Galatians 6:2, Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
